Living Rooms

I like the mixture of neutrals and pops of colors, but overall the room is a bit too dark:

Bathrooms

Old World Bathroom, love the mosaic tile background, light fixtures, dark wood and large tile on other wall/shower

Asian bathroom, love the tiles, bamboo mirror, sink and countertop. I like that it's a splash of color next to white walls. Too much would be overwhelming

Love the spa feel of this bathroom, the different shades of the neutral tiles, and varying tile sizes. Especially love the tub bamboo face.

The floating feeling of the cabinets is pretty cool

Salt water fish tank in the wall can be seen in the shower or from the vanity

I think this would look really good with mosaic shades of blue and green

I like the tile border as a mirror frame. Using it for the floor is a bit busy, except maybe if the walls were simply painted, no tiles.

I like the use of different materials and color palettes here

So lately I've been fixated on Moroccan decor, and have been decorating my new room with colorful Saris and glass lanterns. I love the beautiful, silky fabrics and bright colors. I'd like to make it a more global feel, with touches from Asia, safari/animal decor, and old world America/European glimpses as well. I'm excited for the challenge of making it all work together, without making it too costumey or over-the-top. I wish I had more room for pieces I've found...

I love using room dividers for additional texture or color punches.

I also love re-cycling items for different purposes
This beautiful Moroccan chest can be used as a dresser, in an entry way, for a tv stand, etc. If I hadn't already bought a nightstand I'd be all over this one selling on craigslist.
